Christmas with the Cranks!

This Christmas was another one for the record books.  Unfortunately, every time we have family here for Christmas, it turns out a little on the crazy side.  Here is a quick run down....my mom had foot surgery and was in pain the entire time, my dad broke a crown while eating salted caramels I made and had to have an emergency repair at my dentist, then or Christmas ended with everyone getting a  horrible stomach flu on Christmas Eve...Followed by my dad in the ER for over six hours on Christmas day.  We did have a "do over" Christmas two days later, but no one was feeling well enough to even enjoy that.  Holden, Halle & my sisters boyfriend Jay were the only ones that did not end up sick (Thank the lord!). It was great to see everyone, and have them here...but I have high hopes for next year instead.

Our cousin Matt was in town, so we went out for drinks at the Sawtooth.   All of us used to have a lot of fun together on the Buchanan's Farm. No, that dog is not Sara's ;)


On Christmas eve we went to the Sun Valley lodge to watch the torch light parade, and the fireworks. These photos were taken just hours before "the storm" hit...

Christmas Day, while we were all in bed(or the bathroom) The Buchanan's took Holden with them for the day.  THANK YOU! It was great knowing that at least Holden had a fun Christmas ;)

Murphy came all the way up from So Cal with Chris & Cheryl...Holden Loved him, and his santa outfit! 

Plans are already in place to meet up in Hawaii next year, or maybe if we are smart for New Years!  ;)
